Matteo brings curiosity, theoretical insight and a growing hands-on focus in composite manufacturing to our mission of pioneering materials. In a recent interview, Matteo shares his journey joining CelluXtreme and his drive to develop functional, high-performance materials
Matteo’s interest in materials started with a fascination for structures: how they carry loads, endure complex conditions and make designs possible that first seem almost impossible. During his studies at KTH, this interest developed into a focus on composite materials and the role of manufacturing in achieving strong and reliable material performance.
With a background in theoretical modelling, Matteo brings an analytical approach that strengthens CelluXtreme’s material development. His high level of curiosity now also drives him to deep-dive into physical material development and manufacturing — connecting theory with practical production.
What makes composites especially exciting to me is the freedom they offer as materials. Composites are designed materials — their performance is unlocked through material architecture and precision manufacturing.
At CelluXtreme, Matteo combines his modelling and manufacturing skills to help develop multifunctional composite materials that meet today’s and tomorrow’s demands. By connecting analytical design with practical manufacturing, he contributes to turning material potential into customer-specific solutions with clear value.
